my own cottage "industry"

As I thought about blogging again, I wanted this endeavour to encompass all of the things my life is about. Family, home, parenting, creating, cooking, thrifting, teaching, learning, and so much more. Then it hit me - we're always working on something around here. If nothing else, we're industrious. I love my little cottage of a house. Not too big, not too small, with as much character as we can keep hold of while making it our home. It is perfect for our family - a little crowded keeps us together more, and hopefully keeps us less selfish. I hope to document progress on our kitchen remodel, some of the things my children teach me, and an occasional recipe or twelve. I pledge to always "keep it real".
